Perfect sightseeing plan for Kyoto
Hello everyone! My name is Anastasia and I want to tell you how to spend a perfect day in Kyoto.
My suggestion for you is to start with visiting Nanzenji temple. There are a lot of places I’m sure you will enjoy. Besides temple itself, you can see a 19th century arch bridge, which is also an aqueduct, so if you use stairs and go up, you can see the watercourse, which conveys water from Lake Biwako.
Also, near the arch bridge there is a little Japanese garden you can enter for around 300 yen.
After visiting Nanzenji temple you can go to The Philosopher’s Walk, a beautiful pedestrian path that follows a cherry-tree-lined canal. If you are lucky, you can see cats, sleeping in carrige.
The path leads to Ginkakuji temple, so if you have time, don’t miss the opportunity to visit one of the most famous sightseeing places in Kyoto.
Enjoy you time in Kyoto!
