Taxi 15 minutes

Subway Shijo station 8 minute walk
Take exit 13 from the underground and exit out onto Shijo dori. Walk along the left side and turn left at the first block and it would be located after two and a half blocks.

Take exit 13 from the underground and exit out onto Shijo dori. Walk along the left side and turn left at the first block and it would be located after two and a half blocks.

Arriving by car
Kyoto South IC
Kyoto South IC (From Kyoto South IC) Travel north on Route no.1 until the end of the road
then turn right at Higashi dera.
Continue heading east on Hachijo dori and turn left on Horikawa dori. Continue heading north and you will arrive at Shijo horikawa.
Turn right at Shijo dori, then cross Karasuma dori. After you pass Daimaru turn left after
two traffic lights at Starbucks then you will arrive after two and a half blocks.
Time required 25 minutes
Kyoto East IC
Kyoto East IC (From Kyoto East IC) Travel west on Gojo dori(route no.1)and turn
right at the Karasuma dori Gojo intersection. Continue north and turn left at Karasuma Shijo.
After you pass Daimaru then pass two traffic lights and turn left at Starbucks.
Continue two blocks and a half and you will arrive at the Ryokan.
For those taking taxi, please request to be taken to the Yanagino Banba Takoyakushi Agaru.

Parking information
We provide shuttle service to the parking lot nearby so there is no need for you to walk although it is only a five minutes walk.
You would need to pay 3,800 yen per day maximum charge for parking but we sell parking service ticket for 2,000 yen at the front desk so please take advantage of this.

For vehicles exceeding the 2.1 meter height limitation we will direct you to an alternate
parking site. (credit card not accepted)
For microbus and large size buses please use the Nijo Jo Parking.

City Bus Guide
Take the City bus no.5 and get off at Shijo Takakura station, then walk six minutes to the Ryokan.
